Missing my husband

When people find out how often my husband and I talk to each other during the day, they usually think we're demented.
We rarely go more than a few hours without a text or a phone call. It used to be a necessity since we always worked opposite shifts and rarely had time face-to-face. We don't have that issue now, but it's nice to wake up to a good morning text and to know that he's thinking about me, to find out how his day is going and catch up with him on his lunch break, and to be able to fill him in on the day-to-day (after school activities, bills, appointments, whatever) without wasting the precious time we have in the evening - instead, we can have a nice family dinner, talk about our day, and just enjoy each other's company.
It's been like that every single day for the past two and a half years, with two exceptions. The week of Christmas 2009, and this week. The first trip, I was in Snowshoe, WV with absolutely no cell phone signal, and this week he is there. It isn't him being out of town that makes me miss him. It's not being able to talk to my best friend whenever I want to. I've gotten spoiled.

And what kind of place in this day and age still doesn't have any (and I mean ANY) cell phone service?! Get on it Snowshoe!

Also, I'm really jealous of the fun he's having. Hopefully I'll be able to join him next year!
