Our Family

Our family is not your average family in the traditional sense. But, it works for us.

There's Sam. My husband. I might be biased, but I think he's pretty cute. He's working a day job for the first time after bartending for years. He's not loving it but I think he's transitioning pretty well.

Then there's me. I just started going back to school (one semester down, 47 to go), am a stay at home to Carson, and am expecting baby number three in May.

My daughter, Cameryn. She's six. She's in kindergarten. She's in the running club, takes ballet lessons, and is doing fantastic in school. She loves dressing up, the ECU pirates, and anything purple. She's a pretty fantastic kid. She's also a pain in the butt.

My son, Carson. He's 3. He goes to preschool two days a week. He plays T-Ball and Basketball and has made a ton of friends at school. He's hilariously funny and expressionistic. He loves trains and trucks and the color green. He is amazing. And frustrating.

Our littlest girl. Baby Shrader. Making her debut in May 2012. We are all so excited to meet her!

Sadie (3) and Stella (6). Our dogs. They're the best/worst dogs in the world depending on what day of the week it is. Sadie is a Labrador Retriever that I got when she was just a few weeks old. Stella's mom was a Mastiff and her dad was probably some type of Hound. It's an interesting combination but she pulls it off. Sam took her home from his parents' farm when she was a few months old.
