Great news!!

The first round of chemo is over and all in all Sam is doing terrific! A little groggy, little nauseous but all things considered he's a-ok! He's definitely a trooper. While that in its self is wonderful news, it gets better.
Today we had physical proof that the treatment is working! His visible tumors have shrunk in size already! Just fantastic! Of course results like this are what we wanted and hoped would happen, but knowing that it can work and actually seeing it are two different things. And so quickly!! He still has a long way to go and we won't know the status of his internal tumors and involvements until after the chemo is over, but this is definitely positive news and he is heading in the right direction!! ** HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY DANCE!!**

It seems like all the "news" we've been sharing lately has been less than cheerful so I couldn't wait to get home to all of you know.
